Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Debra has been with Whitford Law Offices LLC since its inception in May of 2004. Debra completed her undergraduate work at the University of Utah where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Business. In 2001, Debra moved to Oregon to attend Willamette University College of Law and Atkinson Graduate School of Management. While at Willamette, Debra focused on employment law, labor law, human resources, and organizational management. For two years she served as editor of the United States Supreme Court News for the legal journal, Willamette Law Online. She also served as President of the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) student chapter at Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Debra earned her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration in May of 2005. Debra is admitted to practice in the state of Utah.

Prior to joining Whitford Law Offices LLC, Debra worked as a Bookkeeper and Human Resource Assistant at Developmental Services of Utah, Inc. in Murray, Utah, as a Project and Rental Coordinator at Wheeler Power Systems in Salt Lake City, Utah, and as a Legal Intern at Cascade Employers Association in Salem, Oregon. Debra also bears experience in Human Resource management and in-house legal work.
